Philippine Independence Day : Domination against colonizers

 In the intervening decades, the Philippines was colonized by a variety of countries for varying lengths of time. As a result, the country and its citizens lacked the ability to govern themselves. This was a Spanish colony that lasted for over three hundred years. A lot of things happened, including Filipinos being forced to submit and be ruled by the Spanish.

Independence Day is one of the most important dates in Philippine history because it commemorates the country's independence from Spanish rule on June 12, 1898. Every year on June 12, Filipinos celebrate it. National Independence Day is more than just a holiday; it is the day on which Filipinos remember the bravery and sacrifices of soldiers and heroes who fought for our motherland. Their courage in the face of adversity and dedication to liberating the country from colonizers should be remembered by the generation of today and the future generations. These heroic acts should be cherished in the same way that we cherish the gift of sovereignty.

The 12th of June is so significant to Filipinos. Our country has such a rich history. Being voiceless and powerless as a result of years of colonization. Nonetheless, these incredible Filipinos fought to reclaim their independence. The national heroes will undoubtedly not be forgotten. The bravery they displayed was incredible.
