JHS : SURVIVED

Photo from CorinneDobbas.com  Last quarter of this school year 2020-2021 has ended, and despite the fact that we ended this academic year with pandemic, it was quite stressful and intense. I didn't notice, one moment I was stressing over my school works, and the next I was aimlessly looking through my phone. In our lesson in ICT this third quarter, we tackled about Web Design, which is not familiar to us because it is new to us. The internet is a huge aid, especially when it comes to our topic, because some information is just a click away, and all I have to do is reconstruct it in my own words. In terms of other subjects, I'm delighted I was able to properly adjust, particularly in those that need computations like in Math and Basic Electronics. Composing literature works, on the other hand is still a bit exhausting because my mind can't always build a proper sentence, causing me to procrastinate a lot. It was a bit of a blur as we finish the last quarter of this school ye

Restoration is the Solution

Presently, the Earth's ecosystem is way out of balance. According to statistics, 45 percent of the world's wildlife and 12 percent of plant species have declined. These statistics show that the number of trees, tigers, lions, deer, and other wonderful wildlife among us is steadily declining or on the verge of extinction. As a result, the natural balance has deteriorated. As a natural outcome, it is critical to preserve animals, trees, and plants in order to maintain the balance of life on Earth. Our ecosystem and environment are no longer the same as they've ever been. The balance of biological and physical systems has deteriorated as a result of our exploitation of the environment. Such as indiscriminate deforestation, hunting of wild animals, pollution of air and water as a result of industrial development, an increase in global warming as a result of the use of hazardous equipment, and many other factors. We must recreate the same conditions, or we will perish in such a

Philippine Independence Day : Domination against colonizers

Image
In the intervening decades, the Philippines was colonized by a variety of countries for varying lengths of time. As a result, the country and its citizens lacked the ability to govern themselves. This was a Spanish colony that lasted for over three hundred years. A lot of things happened, including Filipinos being forced to submit and be ruled by the Spanish. Independence Day is one of the most important dates in Philippine history because it commemorates the country's independence from Spanish rule on June 12, 1898. Every year on June 12, Filipinos celebrate it. National Independence Day is more than just a holiday; it is the day on which Filipinos remember the bravery and sacrifices of soldiers and heroes who fought for our motherland. Their courage in the face of adversity and dedication to liberating the country from colonizers should be remembered by the generation of today and the future generations. These heroic acts should be cherished in the same way that we cherish the g

Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival of the Arts

Image
Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival of the Arts celebrated from the last week of April to the first week of May was originally the Feast of the Natives that began on May 3, 1883, according to the writings of Damaso King, a well-known Vigan historian. This is the third festival of this city that we celebrate every year, the first is the Vigan Cityhood anniversary featuring the Longganisa Festival on January 22, and the Vigan City fiesta on January 25 in honor of the city’s patron saint, Saint Paul the Apostle. Last last years without the invisible enemy of us which is the pandemic, they usually celebrate Binatbatan Festival in culminating the Binatbatan street dancing, which started in front of the Vigan Cathedral, and ended along Crisologo Street, where old houses were festooned with abel iloco decor for the house decorating contest. The term binatbatan refers to the first step of the weaving process, wherein the cotton balls are separated from the seeds by beating them with the use of two

(Thematic Output) Change Starts Within Us

The photo collage was made by the writer.   Empowering women refers to giving women the ability to make decisions for themselves. Women have endured a huge amount at the hands of men over the years. They were classified as if they didn't exist in ancient times. As if all rights, including the right to vote, belonged to men. Women became more aware of their influence as time passed. The revolution for women's empowerment started there.  Women have always fought for their freedom, fair rights, and equality since the dawn of creation. Gender stereotypes are so impervious that it takes years for them to be gradually eradicated from our culture. It still exists today, but there has been a significant change in how people perceive a woman's actions. Being a woman is challenging enough without having to contend with misogynists on a regular basis or hearing offensive comments if anyone attempts to speak up for themselves. Women are not objects, we weren't created for the pleas

Another quarter has ended, and despite the fact that we are nearing the end of the academic year with pandemic, it was quite stressful and intense. I didn't notice, one moment I was stressing over my school works, and the next I was aimlessly looking through my phone. In our lesson in ICT this third quarter, we tackled about Community Based Research, which is familiar to us because of our subject Research II. It appears to be a review of what we learned about researching and how we might put it to use in our daily lives. The internet is a huge aid, especially when it comes to our issue, because some information is just a click away, and all I have to do is reconstruct it in my own words. In terms of other subjects, I'm delighted I was able to properly adjust, particularly in those that need computations like in Math and Basic Electronics.  The Covid-19 pandemic affected almost every aspect of life, causing global economies to slow, altering how we live and bond with our loved ones, and pressuring healthcare systems to their crisis point. To stop the virus from spreading, governments all over the world have been forced to impose serious constraints on human activity. COVID-19 has the potential to cause severe and even life-threatening complications. It's impossible to predict how COVID-19 will affect you. If you get sick, you may risk causing harm to your friends, family, and others. Before any vaccine including COVID-19 vaccines, clinical trials must verify that they are safe and effective. These vaccines being made of must be authorized and approved first. A Covid-19 vaccine's proven and potential benefits must outweigh its known and potentiated risks. Now that efficient COVID-19 vaccines have been produced and are being delivered to the general public, it is important for people to know the benefits of the vac
